Fill the easy-loading hopper and unleash a blistering blast of rounds at a velocity of 100 feet per second (30 meters per second). It makes for a fun in hand experience for the older set like myself but for the target demographic of real actual children, that weight could be a problem. The other flywheel Rival, the Zeus, cannot use the rechargeable pack and so was really down compared to its big brothers, only managing 93 FPS. The only downside is that you can empty the chamber is around 30 secs and you will lose balls all over the place.

Most of the time this was no problem as running around shakes them up plenty, but if you are on sentry duty, keep an eye open for this. Also this blaster is full auto, which means that you can only get a single shot with a short pull on the trigger. The Nemesis is compatible with the Hera MXVII-1200's battery tray, meaning that it can potentially take "C" batteries instead of "D" ones. The Nemesis is the second-most highest-capacity RIVAL blaster released, behind the Prometheus MXVIII-20K. Blaster Barn is not affiliated with Hasbro®, Nerf®, Dart Zone®, BOOMCo®, Buzz Bee®, Zing®, Lanard®, Adventure Force®, Zuru®, Larami®, or Koosh® in any way.

The Nerf Rival Nemesis MXVII-10K blaster is not only easy to load and quick to unleash a fury of blistering rounds at an astounding velocity of 100 feet per second but it is also available in either red or blue (sold separately) so you can choose your colour and battle as a team! Since you load the Nemesis in this way you would possibly expect the hopper to be fixed, but you can actually remove it. When it comes to bonkers ammo capacity, the Nemesis is by far the greatest official option, but there are other DIY mods to go even further. ThisIsWhyImBroke is reader supported, some products displayed may earn us a commission if you purchase through our links. Unlike other Rival blasters, like the Perses, where you can only feed rounds directly into the blaster, the hopper chamber on the Nemesis is detachable. The blaster is available in blue and red (each sold separately), so choose a color and go into battle as Team Red or Team Blue. As with all flywheelers you have to rev the blaster for a moment to spin up the flywheels before pulling the trigger or you get a very weak shot. The firing mechanism is similar to the Khaos and Hyperfire in that it uses a conveyor belt system to deliver the darts to the flywheels rather than the pusher arm used in earlier NERF blasters like the RapidStrike. The Nemesis currently tops my list of fully automatic Nerf blasters right now; that’s how much I like this machine. This mechanism is powered by 6 D-size batteries, so this baby is ready to power through some long sessions.

Like its brethren blasters, it fire balls instead of darts, and fires them at speeds of up to 70 mph, or 102 feet per second. The Nemesis uses the same conveyor belt feeding system as the other Rival blasters, the Perses and the Prometheus, to pull rounds from the hopper into the barrel to shoot.
