she has to move back in with her brother, whom she hasn’t spoken to in a long time, not only that but she also has to face the love of her life, whom she hasn’t spoken to either since she left him, or did he leave her ? Have never stopped loving you, since the second I realised I did, and I admit it, it took me too long to know it but I know it now, and I can’t unknow it.

I honestly came into this book expecting to rag on him like I do for the previous books, but I had very few complaints. I get that there are a lot of people who only read the Daisy Haites books but for those who read the whole series it felt like reading the same thing again. we lost the plot the second Magnolia came in (again, we're not surprised, considering the obsession the author has with her). On top of this unbearable mess with Magnolia (made worse by her usual dumb ass and whiny behavior) I’m convinced the author doesn’t know shit about how the mafia works because WHO in their right minds would hold a mafia G6 meeting in their own fucking house (which by the way the police knows very well) and survive it? Jessa Hastings clearly forgot the plot right until the very last chapters and decided to fill the remaining space with unnecessary shit.i saw someone else say that it feels like jessa doesn’t actually like or care about daisy/her storyline and yeah, i would agree. daisy and christian really saved this book, however, i do agree with not getting enough of them, considering this is daisy’s book and not julian’s. But when her safety is threatened once again, she finds herself back under the watchful eyes of her gang-lord brother Julian and her ex-boyfriend Christian, both desperate to keep her safe. I will read MP3 as I’m excited to see BJ and Magnolia get their happy ending, but I will not be reading any more Daisy Haites books unless they’re actually going to focus on Christian and Daisy. because julian is getting a love interest and that girl could give him the moon and it still wouldn't mean anything because the author decided that he had to fall hopelessly in love with Magnolia and it ruined his character.

since I didn’t read mp:tlwh cause I don’t like Magnolia and BJ that much so I didn’t know that some of what happened here was the same as from that book so that’s why I’m okay with it. This was one of my most anticipated releases and it's very upsetting when something doesn't live up to expectations. She is the goddess in the Botticelli clam shell, her eyes are the waterlilies in Monet’s pond, she is the hand of God reaching down to mankind. these two touch my heart, it’s like they reach into my chest, wrap their arms around my heart and hug it.If it had, perhaps I wouldn’t feel as disappointed by this book because my expectations would have been accurately set from the beginning. all these small moments of daisy and christian just admiring each other in silence without the other person knowing >>> their journey and love story just hit differently because it all started out so complicated in dh1, but in this book, it’s just so simple, except its actually not. from the very first moment i got to know daisy in dh1 i just knew she was a character that would touch my heart. I liked that she made friends with women (Taura and Magnolia) but again, Taura was her first female friend but we got NOTHING about them but Magnolia filled all of Daisy‘s chapters.
