I did separate 'over views' but thought it would be nice to see both in one place to show the transition from Hien to Otsu which also compliments Otsu in what I found. Just wanted to throw in something I experienced and was surprised about: My Zero Mid is faster and it's noticeably more difficult to stop on than my Hien Soft. Artisan is clear that the product they produce must not only be of high quality in materials but must also be made on manufacturing methods that meet high performance and quality.

The technical storage or access is strictly necessary for the legitimate purpose of enabling the use of a specific service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user, or for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network. I wasn't 100% sure that it wasn't just the tiny pores in the rubber sticking to the desk because it only happens when I mouse over the pad with some pressure, so I got in nice and close and yes it's static alright.Otsu is soft to the touch, though not as soft as one thinks of a soft pad in 'feel' you get from it. The backing for me only works really well when the static is there or when there is moisture after cleaning. Hein is a fast pad with tactile resistance giving ability to stop well which is a paradox I can't explain. Because it only accumulates on the bottom of the mousepad I don't really feel a need to be worried about it, but it can be kind of annoying to reposition the pad when it does cling to the table because you have to peel it completely off to move it even a little. I have to take the mouse pad off the table after awhile to discharge the electricity before it gets too bad.New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . I never owned an old Hayate but it's a *very* smooth glide horizontally, similar or less friction than the less textured hardpads I own (like Razer Destructor 2 or fUnc f. It seems to stick really firmly to the desk and needs to be peeled off after a longer play session, if that's what you mean.

The Artisan Hayate Otsu Soft offers medium control and speed and I thought it would be a good entry into Artisans line of mousepads. The ability of [insert pro CS player who ISN'T hacking lol] to destroy you with a Dell office mouse on an Ikea desk with a keyboard made out of old shoes shouldn't stop you from loving your peripherals. Sensor tracking on Otsu is as superb and no harsh feeling when fast swiping, even when most of arm lays on top of pad. But seeing as there's still no announcement or further hint, it could very well get released later than earlier.

There is no doubt that the ARTISAN mouse pad is of the highest quality in the world in terms of the two sensations of "stopping" and "sliding", which are inseparable for players. It was obvious they take sending you a flat mouse pad very seriously and do not like to bend their pads. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Gaming is a different creature being much more active in movement the problem for me is the part of my palm, bottom right corner, that lays flat on the surface during fast swiping. The Artisan Hien comes direct from Artisan based in Tokyo Japan in a thick padded, brown manila envelope, with big bold red words that say "please do not bend or fold".
